In January 2012, I travelled to Salama in Guatemala to photograph some of the projects run by Plan International. This was a great opportunity for me to see first hand the work that Plan does, and to spend a little time in the communities photographing the children that directly benefit from our work. It was an amazing look into Latin American culture, and one that has really enforced in my mind how important it is for us to continue to help those in need in this world. So here is a run down of the events during my short stay in Guatemala.
